Terms and Conditions

Post Office Life Insurance £50 Gift Card Offer Terms and Conditions, effective from 15th July 2022

1. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. This promotion entitles you to a single M&S, Tesco or Amazon.co.uk Gift Card or eGift Card worth £50 (the “Gift”) as a ‘thank you’ if you buy a Post Office Life Insurance on or after 15th July 2022, and must retain the policy (the "Policy") for a 180-day qualifying period (the "Offer") subject to these Terms and Conditions.

3. Following your Policy purchase, you will be contacted by either post or email (per the contact details you provided in your application for Post Office Life Insurance) (the “Invitation”) and therein invited to make a selection of the Gift you wish to receive.

4. You must select your Gift, online via the link in the Invitation (if sent via email), online at the website specified in the Invitation (if sent by post), or by telephone at the number specified in the Invitation. You may not select your Gift until you have received the Invitation. You may select your Gift at any date following the Invitation, but no later than 365 days from the commencement date of your Post Office Life Insurance policy.

5. You must retain the Policy and make all due monthly direct debit payments for at least the 180-day qualifying period to be eligible for the Offer.

6. The 180-day qualifying period commences from the date that the Policy is purchased.

7. If you are eligible for the Offer, you will not receive your Gift until you have made your selection (see Paragraph 4 above) and the qualifying period has passed.

8. If you have been sent the Invitation, but have not selected your Gift after 365 days from the commencement date of your Post Office Life Insurance Policy, the Invitation will expire and no Gift will be sent to you.

9. The Gift that you selected will be sent to you, if eligible, within 28 days after the end of the 180-day qualifying period, as long as the Policy is still active and all due monthly payments have been paid.

10. Gift Cards will be sent by post; eGift Cards will be sent by email.

11. If you decide to cancel your Policy within the first 30 days of the commencement date of the policy you will be refunded the monthly payments you have paid in full but will not be eligible for the Offer. If you decide to cancel after the first 30 days but before the end of the 180-day qualifying period, you will not be refunded monthly payments already made or be eligible for the Offer.

12. The Offer is open to anyone who is a permanent UK resident aged between 18 and 70 (inclusive) eligible for Post Office Life Insurance. This Offer does not apply to Post Office Limited employees, Post Office Management Services Limited employees, or Post Office Sub-postmasters and their employees who work in Post Office branches.

13. One Gift per eligible Policy, whether single or joint policy.

14. The Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion, offer or cashback deal.

15. This Offer is applicable to applications for Post Office Life Insurance only, made online, or by phone on or after 15th July 2022. The Offer is not available if you apply for Post Office Life Insurance through a price comparison site, affiliate cashback site or via a third party.

16. The Offer is not transferable or exchangeable and no cash alternative will be offered.

17. The Offer can only be redeemed/used once per person and is only available for new policies. A customer may purchase more than one Policy, so may receive more than one Invitation to select a Gift. However, once a Gift has been sent to a customer under this Offer, no further Gift will be sent to that customer for their other Policy(ies).

18. The promoter of this promotion is Post Office Management Services (the "Promoter") and the promotion is administered by Neilson Financial Services who are acting on behalf of Post Office Management Services. Their correspondence address is PO Box 6063, Windsor, SL4 9GL.

19. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Offer without notice at any time. Policies purchased after the Offer is withdrawn will not be eligible for a Gift.

23. Post Office Limited, Post Office Management Services Limited and Neilson Financial Services Limited accept no responsibility for lost, stolen or defaced M&S, Tesco or Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards, or for M&S, Tesco or Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards or eGift Cards being used without your permission. Post Office Limited, Post Office Management Services Limited and Neilson Financial Services also accept no responsibility or liability if you do not claim your Gift in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award a Gift to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions

M&S, Tesco or Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards* or eGift Cards are provided by The Marketing Lounge Partnership ("MLP") who only use personal data provided to it to administer this promotion and for no other purpose. MLP are processing data on behalf of Neilson Financial Services Limited and will delete all personal data 1 year following the last gift claim date.
